Lesson learnd already this year, next year i will get the boat ready by the end of January, sat and sun had perfect sun here in the sw seas flat. teignmounth yetserday was beatifully, sea were flat as far as the eye could see, sunworshipers on the beach,, just a lovely day wished we were we on the boat, so im im cracking on now today to get the wellcrafty ready and hope another day of sun and calm seas pass us soon.

Just wonderd if any one else had the same feeling, and regretted not having there boat ready

Its a straightforward rule of boats that they will never be ready when you want to use them, that if it is a bank holiday weekend you will need a new part at 5.30pm on the Friday and that if it is the hottest day of the year with dead calm water, your battery will be flat.

just to rub it in, was out in chi harbour sat and sun and it was perfect weather with little wind but very flat seas. saw a few seals looking for lunch as well.

To make it worse for you. We were relaunched 0800 on Sat monring up the Dart after a 3 month lay-up. You don't get many better mornings. The seas were flat calm. We had a nice swift cruise back from Dartmouth just round to Brixham and moored up, taking in the anchored ships on the way - superb start to the season.
