2.5 hp mariner choke.

Hi folks.
Just started using my outboard 2.5hp 4 stroke again after the winter. It's not running quite as well as last season. Starts perfectly, but It needs a bit of choke even when warm , overall doesn't perform as well. I didn't let it run dry before lay up.

Using old petrol?
If not then needs a carb clean ... clean anyway!
