I needed a new belt for my 1GM10. Got a DayCo 10A0775C belt from an auto factor for £4.00. I also have an emergency spare on board that is an original Mitsubishi item (much more expensive), however, the Dayco Belt keeps it's tension much better than the worn belt ever did and I have the OEM item on board in case anything goes wrong with it. Now all I need are generic numbers for the canister and fine filters....
BTW does anyone know the model number of the Hitachi alternator? Mine is running well, but I asked an auto electrician to check the brushes and he said the bolts were corroded in place so he couldn't. He ran it up on his rig but advised me that it would need to be replaced if it failed in service.
