1993 sealine with kamd 43?

Would this boat be re engined , I thought 1993 it wouldhave 42a in it ?

The KAMD 43 was one of the designations of the replacement for KAD 42 engine. The M stands for Marine which was the designation for engine when installed for shaft drive rather than stern drive. One of the improvements over the 42 was the addition of a silencer on the induction system. I believe the 43 came into production in 1997.

It's probably a mistake. Ir someone has put a KAMD43 sticker on a KAMD42.

We had a replacement sent for a kad 43 and a Kamd turned up. Seem to remember just the top plastic shield difference.

My thoughts are a mistake i the ad , it's for sale on the boards I will check.
