Hey guys. Ive got a 1990 force 35 hp. I got it used second hand from a young kid who inherited it. He ran it once it over heated and melted parts of the wireing harness. He said he changed out the impeller and never got it to start. I went threw the wireing found the issue and it purrs like a kitten. Only issue is its not pumping water. I tore the lower end off put another new impeller in. Blew out all the lines i can think of and still nothing. Currently as it sits i took the head off to check the ports underneath and they look spotless. On the water pump houseing there is a plastic funnel shaped peice that mates with the water inlet tube. I feel there should be a rubber gromet between the plastic funnel and the water inlet tube. All the parts catalogs does not show a grommet. Any ideas? Also on one of the forms i read on here they talk about changeing the thermostat. The ipc for my motor does not show a thermostat. When i remove the thermostat cover theres no thermostat. 1990 force 35 hp. Model 358f90c
