1937 Robert Clarke Cutter - needs home

Hello there, I am looking for some help with my fathers yacht Galante, a 1937 one off Robert Clarke cutter. I would like to find her a new home as she is a beautiful boat and wonderful to sail but she is in need of some restoration. We are looking to move her on from her current location in Inverness rather than sell her so transport/lifting costs only. Would anyone have any advice on where start/where to look etc.

I remember Galante when she was at Dauntless boatyard in the early 90's, owned by a friend Terry Griffiths, he did a lot of good work on her then & she was a very well built & beautiful boat, Transport will be a low loader job.
There are some good boat movers about several in Essex but its a long way north before they start, must be one based up there?

John Shepherd transport is based near Kilmarnock I believe and I have found him very good, and he tries to reduce the cost to you by adjusting the day of the move to fit in with an empty journey. I have had two boats brought from the south of England to the Clyde area so I know that he works all over the UK.

I know Galante, by Robert Clark. Owned by Tom Raeburn for many years and kept on a mooring at Tighnabruaich during the summer and McAllister's, Dumbarton in the winter.

Fairly sure she is/was a 39' Mystery Class - but - might have been bigger and cutter rigged. Fast for her time. My parents owned Lassiette a 33' Inverie Class also by Robert Clark.

Last time I saw Galante she was on a mooring in Loch Aline looking a bit sad then I heard she had moved to Inverness area.

She wasn't a 39' Mystery class but in fact a 44' one-off Robert Clark cutter.
