I was told by a commercial fisherman today that a boatyard worker ? was in the water for 17 hours recently in the Deben - probably at the Ferry.
Apparently he went to rescue his dog but could not get out of the water. He is in intensive care.
Would be grateful if anyone knows anything about it.
Sounds like a fantastic achievement to have held on for so long.
