16.5\' \"North Sea Skiff\" - a search for her origins
I have acquired a "North Sea Skiff", 16.5', standing lug + jib rig, long-keeled double-ender. Despite extensive web searches I cannot find out where or when it was made or by whom. The sail number is NS21. Judging by the general wear + tear I suspect she is about 20 years old or more. The tan sails are by Austin Farrar Sail Co. Any help in identifying the origins of what seems to be quite a classic boat, albeit manufactured in GRP with wood trimmings, would be much appreciated. There is a photo in the Yahoo Openboat forum in the "miscalaneous" album.
