15% increase in berthing fee\'s (compare)?
We have just received a letter from our local county council who run my local marina informing us that instead of the originaly planned increase of 25% for berthing they have taken into account the current economic climate and are only imposing an increas of 15%!
Burry port marina is situated on the Burry estuary and it has a tidal flap gate set up which typicaly allows us access on average 2.5 hours either side of top water.
Per meter rate will now be £115 plus vat and we have one off annual charge of £25 for water and use of the refuse bins.
How does this compare with your marina/berth?
Whilst I appreciate the South coast crew may well call this cheap! I wonder if the increase is justifiable?
