I would like to fit switches at a position close to our boat's companionway, to control some of the internal lights. At present each light has a fiddly individual switch. When making other changes it should be easy to fit a small switch panel.

Having looked at caravan style items the ones I've seen don't appeal. Can someone recommend a supplier of suitably discreet 4 gang fittings?

Fine having light switches at the entrance hatch for turning lights on but not so convenient for turning off when you are in bed.
You might need the 2 switch solution.( 2X single pole double throw switches).
However as said these PIR sensor LED lights are brilliant.

They are a bit hard on batteries. ie last a few months. I have one in the ensuite bathroom at home and it has become essential to operations at night. I fitted 4X Nimh aaa batteries connected to a small solar panel. Now I can forget battery concerns. Get solar panels from those garden light things and put 3 in series. (and a diode).
Or for the boat you could run it from ships12v battery a 6v regulator. good luck olewill

Look at Berker, they are about 50mm sq, can get singles or tywin and can be mounted in pairs in double frame. http://www.furneauxriddall.com/acatalog/Berker_Switches.html
