I've been struggling for a while to find some decent 12v LED downlights to replace some of mine which are failing.
I came across these - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ODSAWEO?ref_=pe_3187911_248764861_302_E_DDE_di_1
I ordered 6 and they arrived a couple of weeks ago.
I would highly recommend them, they give a very bright warm light with minimal power consumption.
They are also very shallow and would fit flush in most headlining or only require a small plinth.

+0.8

We also have Dream Lighting ones, slightly different model. They're great, bright, warm white and nice and wonderfully flat for surface mounted fixtures. Fitted 8 of them, plus two reading lights in 2015, all still working fine. But the bezels cracked on most of them, in the same place - where the power button is and the bezel is the thinnest. They offered replacement bezels for cheap, but the shipping cost from the US is astronomical, so unfortunately not quite +1.

Mine aren't switched I have a flush mounted ceiling switch panel for all high level lighting. The bezels are chromed plastic, but if they do suffer in future, as they just clip on it wouldn't be difficult to replace them.

I fitted exactly the same (also Dream Lighting from Amazon), excellent replacement for original 20 watt halogens in a Jeanneau. Much better light at a fraction of the power. In the Jeanneau thay were simply a very tight push fit in the original recesses in the headlining panel.
