12v 20w deck bulb - I just can\'t find one - WHY?

I can't believe that I'm having trouble sourcing a replacement bulb for my decklight. On it it says "Jahn 1848 12v 20w" and underneath it says "3 12" . What does the 3 12 signify?

Is there a secret place where everyone goes to?

What make is the deck light

what type of bulb is is it. Halogen? (they are in Aquasignals)

what type of fitting. Screw, bayonet, bipin etc and what size.

Lots of 12v Here you might find what you want.
Can't help with "3 12"

I don't know the make of unit as it was to dark to see but I will look next time. It is a sealed halogen bulb with a bipin fitting

Correction it is a bayonet not a bipin fitting

It's a standard halogen bulb with a BA9s base. You can get one from Index Marine - scroll halfway down the page, look for K-4030, and select "12v 20W". You can check the specification here on the Jahn Lighting website.
