reboot the router and try again....

Done that, router is also connected to the PC, which is fine, tried changing to wired connection, nothing, ran antivirus, found a couple of nasties and booted them, still not working. Just done another scan and all clear.
Tried checking settings, all fine
But damn thing refuses to connect though it says it is connected

if you have Zone Alarm and have Automatic XP updates on, yesterdays update killed Zone Alarm.

Basically, go to control panel and uninstall the updates dated yesterday. Dont forget to tick the box to show updates or you wont see it.
