100 quid difference!

Looking to buy a roller reefing system for my boat. decided on Plastimo 810s. phoned seateach in emsworth and they quote 499. looked at seamark nunn, they quote 399.
for exactly the same thing. it pays to shop around!

Make sure they ARE same ---- isn't Plastimo the ones where you can have stainless or Glass filled nylon version drums ..... ??

i have my friend. i nearly bought the expensive one on saturday but the kids were getting fractious and so i had to go home in a huff. looked on the web at work and lo and behold found the seamark nunn site, phoned them and ordered it. its the first time i,ve been grateful for moaning kids.

I think chandlers end up specialising in certain product lines, so it pays to shop around. When I was looking for a Lewmar Ocean hatch, Seateach offered a price which was £100 less than anyone else.

I know Seateach well and when I did my Profurl years ago and I had a carry away on the forestay - they came up absolutely trumps with help and spare spars etc.
Their sail wardrobe is extensive new and second-hand and I generally whenever use them and get good pricing.

I have no connection other than as a customer.
