Karisma was delivered to Penarth Marina, and photographed on a very old blackberry phone, it’s a terrible photo but I was probably shaking with excitement. I’d done a competent crew course a bit less than 2 months earlier and then crazily bought an actual boat.

ten years later she’s still at the heart of family life and not regretted a moment of ownership. Here she is this summer at Dale:

Brilliant things, boats.

We bought her sister ship Bluenote II eight years ago! I will be sad to see her go. Brilliant quality little cruisers. Ideal for a family just starting out.
Still not sold? I thought that you had put her up for sale a month or more ago & had enquiries immediately.
Or have I got the wrong Hanse? If so what model is yours? I know someone looking for something circa 30 ft

This is a brilliant post, we’ve recently bought our first boat with not dissimilar levels of experience. Hope we can feel the same in ten years :). Going great so far

2002 Hanse 301 . Immediate enquiries do not necessarily turn into immediate buyers. Especially so if they are not in a position to make an offer.
I am in no rush she will be worth 6% more next year!
