Very sad...not the best run up to Christmas for someone. Not that there is ever a good time to go adrift...

Not much info, but presumeably a fishing or sailing dinghy. Not much hope for the missing person if they have not been found by now. A dreadful start to Christmas.

If cold shock wasn't an instant factor one would think there are quite a few buoys and things to cling onto, but the rescue people would only have minutes to find someone.
Very sad, hoping for a miracle or at the very least that they are found quickly for the familys' sake.

Still no news, as far as I can see. Not a squeak.
BBC News 24 keep the "Breaking News" footline alert going, but not making any report from News reader. Very frustrating, for those interested.

I made the 18.00 radio 4 news.
it seems 2 airlifted 1 missing. very very sad & the shipping forecast was high for winds

However, there will also be people killed and injured on the roads..
And not forgetting all those poor folk who have just been given a natural wash from the nearby river..

Heart attack? No mention of the poor man's age.
Even more tragic that the water was shallow enough to stand-up in, apparently.

That would be where the dinghy washed up, not necessarily where the capsize happened

Sadly not much hope for the third. I heard the 'Silence Fini' from Falmouth Coastguard announcing that after extensive searching they were calling off the search.
I'm sure all our thoughts are with the family.
