Helo folks,
I've moved to a mooring where the drive legs and props are out of the water for most of half ebb to half flood. I've tilted the drive legs up into the beaching position as I felt this best when the boat settles into the mud. My paranoid worry is that now the rams are fully extended and open to the air and water, plus the bottom bit of the leg below the duoprop ring anode sits in the water for a while with no anode to protect it. Anyone else on a drying moring doing this? If so, has the bottom rotted off the skeg? Do the rams rust like an old Mini Metro?
