£68 a night in Cowes !!!

I expect there will still be spaces at the Folly for 10% the cost, but then there is the awful drag of having get oneself ferried ashore by one's crew, and the tedious trip down the river in the morning, while one's man makes breakfast, it's all a bit too ghastly to contemplate, I'm afraid ...

Thinking about it that will prob. be £73 as they'll round it up to 11 metres!

Just as well one can keep ones boat on The Squadron pontoons, ain't it? /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

. . . whereas in practice you'll be leaning against the quay up at Newport pleading engine probs and enjoying a freebie to scrub orf!

(Sorry Dave, have read the Elizabethan Handbook.)

'kinell!!!!!!!!

That's not much less than I pay for a year /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Admittedly, it's a couple of hours from Cowes and I can't walk ashore, but [smug git mode]I'll put money on my bar being a pound a pint cheaper[/smug git mode]
