Short pipe is from the rocker cover breather, this would normally go in just before the turbo. I am no oil expert but surely the tiny amount of oil on the filters would not make any difference compared to the crankcase breather and oil seals on the turbos ? My reason for changing them was I...

No clue to be honest, only done the mod and haven't taken her out as found other issues like leaking bellows thats knackered the starter motor, plus what else the salt will have affected too :(

I have just done this to my AD41's, you need a few 90's, a reducer and a few 3 inch straights.. looks alright by me!

Cheers Paul ill give it a go. Take it just lower both drives to the lowest position before to avoid an oily mess.

To be honest we have had limited time, only bought her last summer so need to investigate further. Doesn't help that the fly bridge buttons are inop so have to go down to control them!

no traces as far as I could see, but then again I guess its hard to see under the water! maybe if I get someone to hit the power up/down whilst in water it might be visible if there.. otherwise ill check the reservoir! Cheers

Just asking if anyone has experience with the outdrive on a AD41-B on a DP outdrive that degrades when going along? have to constantly power up to trim the outdrive back to 0, it goes down to -6 prettly quickly (as in 10 mins or so at cruise) There's no visible oil from the rams, whats peoples...

There must be a calculation available for the air flow ect, but I specced mine a little by eye.. will see. also I doubt they get that clogged? Thinking the engine bays is pretty clean compared to road dust

Cheers mate that helps me as I need to get the breather inlets welded and wasn't sure of the size! Of course I will update to see if it fits ect and hopefully remember some pics..

Hi Jamie, I'm going to fit this in a couple weeks, ill see how it works if that helps! Its an oiled filter, im planning on introducing the breather after the filter as it would have been on the normal filter housing so it shouldn't matter anyway hopefully!
