    Fully battened m/sail for sale

The batten cars sliders and battens are included. They measure about 13-14mm across and would fit a 5-6mm slot. I’d guess pretty standard for the size of sail.

    Navico RT1200 radio

As per title. Removed as parts of electronics upgrade - was working fine last year and complete with telephone type handpiece and flush mount. Seems a shame to throw it away so if anybody would like it in return for a modest donation to RNLI and postage they’re welcome. collection from N Essex.

    Fully battened m/sail for sale

Full battened Hyde main from X-302. P=11.31m E =4.02m. Elderly sail with radial head and foot, but in good condition and surprisingly good shape. Three reefs. Replaced for reasons of vanity I have to admit! Any reasonable offer considered. Collection from N Essex.

    X-302 saildrive diaphragm

It’s a 2GM20F driving through an SD20. A very good unit I think- the paint on the drive leg is scabby with some areas needing repainting but no corrosion which suggests the anodes are working well: aluminium one on the leg and zinc on the prop. I shall replace the engine and drive mounts as I...

    X-302 saildrive diaphragm

To complete this, the fairing plate was about 3mm grp sheet bonded in by what appears to be epoxy filler and faired in with the same filler. The 2 yanmar diaphragms, which are as far as I know the originals from 2001, absolutely pristine with no damp between them. A sharp chisel was required to...

    X-302 saildrive diaphragm

One of the winter jobs for my new toy is to change the diaphragms on my yanmar saildrive. The X 302/332 doesn’t use the yanmar rubber outer fairing around the saildrive leg where it exits the hull, but appears to have a rigid plate. The Danish club site suggests you pull it out with an Allen key...

    Sailspar furler

In Manningtree on Essex Suffolk border. The drum measures approx 113mm and over the outer guide/cover 122mm. The luff section is 33mm diameter and it would take a 7mm bolt rope although I think the sails I had on it were 6mm. The forestay diameter was 6mm.

    Sailspar furler

Sailspar furling unit. Was fitted to 31ft boat -overall length was 11.35m as fitted and the genoa luff length I had on it was 10.4m. It was dismantled carefully and one stripped thread repaired. It obviously has some scratches and weathering but is ready to reassemble (manual included). You will...

Connecting Stowe Dataline tranducers to Raymarine displays

I have dataline instruments and a ray marine autopilot. This gadget links the 2 systems flawlessly and I can see all the data line info on the raymarine display.

    EV100 - ACU100 installation - Interference

The ev100 autopilot is the best autopilot I’ve used. I fitted it to my Parker 31 a couple of years ago. I put the sensor below the front end of the saloon table just above the cabin sole. The reasoning was that this was on the centre line and near the centre of movement, away from batteries...

    Lost dinghy?

Anyone recognise this? Saw it while walking along the foreshore 1/4 mile east of Stutton Ness on the Stour, has ff104 written inside the port bow.

Anyone know what are these called?

Z spars are extremely helpful and can supply blocks with the threaded posts already fitted or posts to mount other toggle headed blocks to if you wish. I did this with my parker 31 to use more modern ball bearing blocks.

    Is this your parker 31

Yes it is my Parker 31! Pretty breezy day in the Stour, enjoyed a beat down to Erwarton against the tide then ran back to Manningtree. Lovely pics but a shame I hadn't invested in new sails...
