We went from a marina to a swing mooring, the main thing I miss is the conversations with other boat owners as you walk up and down the pontoon. Surprising how many tips and tricks you can pick up in a small conversation. What I do not miss is the big marina bill through the post each year😁

Used Master Blaster last year excellent job. One tip, make sure you cover up winches, hinges and clutches as the media gets everywhere.

Stopped off at Falmouth Haven at the weekend. They are now charging £4/m for a overnight stay!! I am sure it was only £3 last year. After visiting checked the other marinas around Falmouth and it looks like haven are now the most expensive. Lesson learnt before the next visit, check the prices...

Bob As Pete said connect a NMEA cable from the back of the chart plotter to your AIS, also remember to change you baud setting on the chart plotter to 38400. I have just completed the same on a C70, took a little while to work it out but in the end it was easy enough. Good luck Tony
