If you really cared about your boat then perhaps reconsider leaving it plugged in. Plenty of examples of dehumidifiers and battery chargers catching fire and batteries exploding.
I’m meant to be out of James Watt Dock in Greenock by 31 March but they’ve waived April’s fee as obviously I can’t move her. They’re going to review the plan for May next month. Good on them.
Previous boat was a Sadler 34 with a diesel heater. Unit was installed in aft cockpit locker (Stbd side) with ducting running alongside prop shaft and then under engine to a single outlet under the companionway steps - worked well and never felt the need for additional outlets.
