Hi - have there been any more developments in the story of this boat - I am just curious, and hopeful that maybe she is up and sailing again with a skipper who cares for her.

Maybe a current photo of the boat? My idle curiosity has kicked in as I am currently laid up with a broken foot.

I thought I would drop by and see how the reclamation project was progressing on the old boat.
I have some thoughts arising from the current thread. One main one actually: and that is that the boat, having sunk, and not been refloated, might be claimable as salvage?

I can definitely state that those pictures are of one of the Lower Halstow-built boats. In other words Kent.
Fluffc - I can send you a scanned copy of a picture of my Dad's boat if you wish - she was Grey when we first fitted her out.
I have scanned a photo from the day we stepped the mast on our boat for the first time. If you are interested I can send you a copy of the picture, and you may be able to say if it was a boat from our consortium in Bermuda.

Yes I have a few photos of some of the hulls and a couple stepping masts. I made a mistake in adding in "Mick" because in fact it was John Booty who had that boat "Fly". The Mick I was thinking of was Mick Barker who was refitting a Brixham Treawler, the same years we were building the 5 hulls.
My father Bill Marshall, with my brothers Peter and David, and myself were in a consortium that built 5 Bawley replicas at Halstow. Other members were Ed and Johnny Loe, a chap whose name was also Terry (I think he worked at an abattoir) can't remember the last name, plus a chap called Ray...
