For the 3rd time my Raymarine ST60 log insert - water ingress blocker - has pulled out completely when changing from paddle wheel to blank. Frightening amount of water rushes in until blank is screwed into place!
What is happening is the arrowed 'stainless' clip is releasing the circled inlet...
I absolutely stand corrected but I don't think the average beginner family sailor is going to have the wife and kids on the rail trying to keep the boat upright! :-) my video was intended for beginners - newbies to boating - Experienced sailors like you don't need my video.

The copyright possibly is owned by the surveyor... Normally ask the broker/previous possible purchaser for a copy of the survey and 'normally' they will end it to you... The person who commissioned the survey will certainly be pleased to share it with you for a fee to help offset their loss I...

I am having 2 65w solar panels attacher to my bimini... If I don't complete the wiring run to the battery for a few weeks will it damage the panels having nowhere to 'send' the charge to?... Leaving the two leads unattached to anything??
