You do need to block up the centerboard slot when you're towing. There's nothing quite like hanging off the transom with one foot in the dinghy to bail it out.
It's a good time of year to pick up bargain dinghies from yards. Any owners moving on will tend to leave old tenders in the store and they need to be disposed of before the new season.
Yes, it does. Surprisingly well. Commonly used to by bike mechanics where the owner has tried and failed to replace internal cables on time trial bikes.

You need to be able to close off other holes. And you use your hand on the nozzle...
Mmmm. Seems likely to have been 3/4" and vigorously sanded over the years! Mine were similar: 1"; just measured them; 23mm! Veneer gone in places. I guess Sadler could have veneered it themselves but seems unlikely!

I believe there are two sorts of VP exhaust fittings: standard and high rise. I wonder which was originally fitted. The cost of a replacement high rise unit may be why a non-standard part was used. How high is the manifold wrt the water...
I replaced my old DeWalt with the current DeWalt 18v offering as the old batteries were no longer obtainable.
Unimpressed with the new one. The chuck collet slips and even when it doesn't it has nowhere near the holding ability of the old one.
Also the case is larger than the old one even...
Hiya

It was 5mm x 15mm galvanised steel. It's been there for 20 years so not much left. So planning on replacing with 3mm x...
