Not in my experience. Squeezed out it is easily removed with a craft knife, any semi sticky residue with white spirit. See post #15.

Only 18 bolts! Wow, we had 48 nuts/screws on 4 windows and 20 each on the other six ! Over 300 in total! Butyl tape worked for me...
