I had a similar thing when we bought the new boat. The surveyor tested all the batteries and found 2 had 12.2 volts and 1 had 10.4. The brokers swapped the faulty one FOC . Had I known at the time I probably would have insisted on all 3 being swapped but that was 5 years ago and touch wood...
I doubt you would struggle. Just carefully measure the OD of the pipe you want the valve in, metric or imperial sizes..... a set of calipers will help, and select, you can do it!

I would suggest the clear mesh reinforced is fine as you are presumably running straight down from the sink drain. Unless you can find a premade trap ( u bend) the hose will never hold that shape.. not sure it would ever blow back but probably a good idea to ensure the hose you use is suitable...
Ditto. I used Snickers with their best standard insert kneepads. Supplied them for my troops as well. I also wore them with braces,after my arse emigrated North and East and became my stomach, leaving nothing to hold my Snickers up.

Same boat but sedan type. I went through all the hoops and took lots of measurements and found that the small Vetus model will fit. Just. Sleipner bolts to the outside of the transom and if I remember correctly just fits in under the bathing platform. Sadly,at close to 6k fitted, I couldn't...
