Dad was a golfer and mum made him give it up when the 6 of us came along! He had sailed a lot in the Royal Navy, so he decided sailing was the way to go. He joined Lough Swilly Yacht Club and bought a GP14 in 1968. Then came an Islander, then a beautiful 35 foot wooden sloop built in Scotland, then a Centurion 32. Now 3 of his children have our own boats.
