    Depth at Maldon visitor pontoon...

Well I would quite like someone else to break the ground first, soas to speak.

That would no doubt be helpful.

    Depth at Maldon visitor pontoon...

Any update on the visitor pontoon depths above datum. I can take to the mud but I am concerned about getting in and just as importantly out. I have a meter draft.

    Epic antifoul fail

Experimenting with that this year. I've done one scrub in July, after two months in the water. Was no worse than any of the other boats nearby. I will see what the condition is at the end of the season.

Best Anchor for the East Coast.

I've recently gone for the sarca excel, it readily sets in my lawn just by dragging it on a short length of chain. Not tried it anger yet as in the middle of a bit of a refit. You could be talking about me, not a fortune though at the smaller sizes. Personally would not sleep easy through a...

Moorings in Twizzle creek - thoughts and experiences?

You might also consider Bedwells or Frank Hall who have moorings in the Twizzle. More restricted by tide than Tichmarsh but only a short walk to the town centre, and no doubt more economic.

    Shortage of 4.5 kilo Butane.

I have been thinking about changing from camping gaz to calor. Perhaps I will stay as I am for a while longer.

Affordable moorings for a couple of weeks?

If you get as far South as the crouch you might like to call Brandy hole morrings. ( Brandy Hole Moorings Home Page ). He normaly has deep water swinging moorings at a reasonable cost, small private boat yard to leave your tender. No direct train but only a short walk along the river to a bus...

Westerly Drooping Headlining - Recommendations for East Coast Repairer

It's a labour intensive and mucky job. I've just replaced the linings to my rear cabin with foam backed faux leather. Even if I do say so myself it has come out quite nicely. I used to do something similar for Sea masters, but that was years ago.

Brits having a hard time in AC?

I'm probably completely out of turn here. With such massif improvements between now and before Christmas and with the ultimate competitor in Sir Ben at the helm. Could I possibly suspect an element of gamesmanship here

    They're back.

Nice to see some about. As recent as 20 years ago there used to be clouds of Plover / Dunlin / Knot. Now I'm lucky to see a few hundred. You must have bored to count them one at a time.

    Wind and Tide

I was on the crouch thursday. With the wind directly into the esturary and against the spring tide, it was unusualy bouncy. The last couple of miles between burnham and the roach definatly required an extra hand for the boat. The sea died again, once the corner into the roach and towards...

    Tortoise or Turtle

Sounds like a released terapin that has become to big for its aquarium. I saw one a few years ago way up river at sandford mill.

    See if ebay works.

As someone who regularly looks through flea bay is there a reason that you have the boat listed under, Boats Parts & Maintenance, the search engine will not it pick up as a complete boat. Much better to list under, (Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles/Boats & Watercraft/Sailing Boats,) OR ( Sporting...
