We are nearing the end of the season and were thinking about leaving boat (HR 37') in Yatlift boatyard near Bodrum, but haven't read any feedback on the place. We did get a quote which seemed reasonable. Has anyone here kept the boat there? what is it like?

It's not steam ,they are sending smoke signals to the shore team to get the mooring lines ready. Defence cuts are biting deep. Anyway Donald, you shouldn't be looking at it.You might be shot as a spy.

If you can't afford to buy a boat by yourselves, save up until you can. Your plan is a recipe for disaster in so many ways.

Why?

I would have thought that the yard,in fact any yard is well within its rights to add a mark up to the price charged by an outside contractor using their premises,possibly their electricity and other facilities while doing work on a boat in the yard. Surely you cant have a problem with this?

Just been back to have another look at the O/B. There is a rod which runs vertically from the gear selector lever at the front of the engine. It runs down through the main motor pivot and can just be seen where it enters the bottom section of the unit..presumably this is where it goes into the...

Thanks for your reply, I don't see where this clamp might be,it is not obvious just by looking at the motor. Looking at some of the vids on utube there seemed to be a clamp located on the outside of the housing but it is not obvious on this particular motor. So the answer to your question is...
