I would first of all consult with a professional trades person or company including your insurers.
DIY saves money at the outset but in the long run?
Currently boat less ,Nautical on previous craft.
Friendly service wider cover wider than Craftinsure and competitive.

I dropped Craftinsure as one to approach . Far too much little print and felt uncomfortable with just a few clicks to arrange. The policy imo did not appear to be as comprehensive or as wide as others such as Haven ,Nautical and GJW .

The Craftinsure website clearly states if your vessel 20 years of age or over you must have a survey .Easy to understand and clearly not worth time and effort in obtaining a quote as you are just wasting your money if suckered in.

Having read I am of the view that whilst two names on the papers with a high number of craft damaged if not destroyed then a number of insurance companies and Lloyds of London may have been involved.
