Oostende voor anker End of May. A good weekend with interesting boats, bands and street food. I’ve been three times but not lately.

There were lots of unused moorings in the Crouch some years ago and have remained so. Less buoys put out in Bradwell Creek and the marina has a waiting list. I guess that many of those who can afford boat ownership prefer to do it from a marina.

I thought that the Customs in Ostend was next to the railway station. In Vlissingen there is a newish marina straight ahead without turning into the lock. That is a short walk from the customs office.

Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor varnish is very good. Use Satin. A few coats should last years. Water based so easy to apply.

Can’t find where I read that. It was on here. I assume it was to do with the motorway bridge. There’s an app called Water Map Live that gives all the bridge opening times but my subscription has run out.
