Looks good. One question, as I'm planning on installing a Raymarine Linear Drive, too:
The installation guide says the rudder needs to have a "mechanical stop" at 35 degrees on either side, to prevent the linear drive running into it's drive ends. How did you achieve this?
We have 8mm on our 33-footer, with a 32sqm main and a 30sqm Genoa. If you can go down in diameter also depends on your stoppers/clutches, if they can hold the smaller line.
Same with mine. I always wondered wether it was supposed to be like this (without cover) or if some previous owner had just lost the cover.
