    Selden Spinnaker Pole End

Hello Donald, Thank you for your reply. So this is indeed the correct size. See private message for more details. Don't worry about the timing, since we will not be back home until end of August ourselves. I will be looking forward to your reaction by then. Happy sailing, Philip

    Selden Spinnaker Pole End

Hello Donald, I am looking for an end-fitting like this, but am not sure about the size you specify. As far as I am aware, the smallest size for this type of fitting is o.d. 72mm, so could you please check the o.d.? Philip (also: I am living in the Netherlands, what would p+p be?)

    Retrofitting a tachometer/engine-hours meter

Circuit design for hours counter I installed an hours counter on my instrument panel. All parts can be ordered at rs-online.com. Total costs 40 EUR. For circuit design, which counts only when the engine is actually running, see: https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/cc2rfv/hours-counter-driver/.

    ST4000+ Tiller Drive

ST4000+ Ball Bearing I had this problem with very rough noise as well. It became very scary, and you start to appreciate how important the drive is. In my case, the cause was a failed rollerbearing, not the recirculating balls. This bearing is part of the planetary gear assy, which can be...

    MD2030-oil leakage from throttle arm

I had similar leakage, but NOT form the arm or O-ring. After long searching, I found that it was one of the two bolts which clamp the control lever to the injector pump! After taking out the bolt, cleaning and sealing with loctite all seems OK for now.

    Raymarine ST60 Tridata wrong temperature

Sensor Replacement Also my temperature reading became erratic after five years. This winter was the first winter where we left the boat in the water. I have tested the sensor resistance as described by Raymarine, and it seems to be faulty. I will try to install a separate sensor, tied to a...
