I've recently become the new owner of a 1930 Berthon Gaff Cutter, Flamingo. She needs a lot of work and will be living in a field next to my house while I learn how to restore an old wooden boat! I'm a Set Designer by profession and have been, in the past, a Modelmaker, a Chippy, an Apprentice Cabinet Maker and a Trout Farmer so I'm hoping I'll have some of the relevant skills..... Ok maybe the trout farming is less relevant.
