    Pressure switch on water pump playing up.

    I had a similar problem recently. It was caused by the diaphragm not being properly seated and pressure being equal on both sides so the micro switch was not activated. Reseating the diaphragm was the solution.

    Weymouth Harbour

    I was in there last Friday. I had booked ahead which is a bit of a gamble but worked out for me. The harbour was fairly full but there was a regatta on. They seem strict on the three day rule. Reasonable efforts had been made with social distancing and we enjoyed our stay.

    I was in there earlier this year. No signs of rafting but they do fit two boats between a pair of buoys so arrange your lines so that you are near to one of them. At least one long line essential. Some boats anchored outside the entrance as well but this was very settled weather.

    I have had a letter from Volvo Penta offering to replace the MDI on a D series engine FOC . I believe owners just have to contact their local dealer to have this work done. The references are Service Bulletin 37-2-107, Quality Campaign Q0138.

    Perhaps because with an inside steering position it is more important to see where you are going. After all, on a car you only get windscreen wipers on the front but not the side.
