Have recently repainted my clinker built folkboat after much prep work and now notice hundreds of tiny bubbles in various places which will need rubbing down and repainting. What is the cause of the problem How can I stop it happening again?

Is used for anchor mostly but also used for stepping mast via A frame and pulley mounted on foredeck. Am told that draw on no load is 45amps. On full load 200amps. Operating via pulley gives 2.1 ratio.

Having stripped back the planking above water line on my folkboat all of which is in excellent condition, have applied coat of primer which shows up lots of small blemishes I need to fill all and then sand back to smooth finish before repriming. This was what it looked like. No wonder took 18hrs

Boat is now out of water having seen state of hull underwater,! Now all cleaned and all seams being resealed with Ct1. A labourious job scraping all seams back to bare wood before applying ct1. Why hasnt someone designed an electric tool for shaving paint off of edges of boards below water line.
