i had an inverter on my last boat for running just the tv and the inverter was just wired up to the 12v
+&- battery bank with a fuse inline and had no problems at all.
when the throttle is shut off fast while under load/way there will be a whoosh
but i have not heard a turbo whoosh when revving up, i have heard them whine
or whistle though and the actuator more than likely needs to be greased up so it
can move free.
if your looking for a boat with an inboard then shaft only as you will regret getting one with a outdrive
unless of course you are only going to use the boat in total fresh water.
evolution 38 style for example something that is or could be up for sale in your marina
ect or maybe some one you know that is thinking of selling soon but has not advertised
it on the internet. other examples are offshore 105 and single engine only.
i did and he had all the info about the boat which had only two owners
since new and the first worked at lochin newhaven where it was built.
so i made up my mind to buy it after a survey of course but then the
seller decided he wanted to keep it. so hey hoe i am still looking for
a boat !
