I would suggest a length of guttering over the pillow area with a down pipe to the bilge, but that would get the dusty bilges damp - so perhaps best not. (I'm not jealous at all - only one leak and a dry bilge - are you sure the boat is not in a barn somewhere?)

We just stripped the hull and repainted. Well the wife did (best paint stripper I know of). Electric hot air gun and the flat bladed stripper that you use for steaming off wallpaper works best. As long as the paint has been warmed through and the flat scraper is sharp it comes off easily like...
