Just done it and now at Poole quay. Assume 30 mins to get down the Hamble, 30 mins to needles, 40 mins to Bournemouth pier and same again to Salterns

I had the same issue just before the boat was due to be lifted so a perfect opportunity to have a good look. It turns out that the whole unit was full of water and on close inspection the top of the unit was held on with mild steel screws! Hardly a good idea for something that is meant to be...

The reason swindeleries carry so many products is because there is not enough margin across 1 or a few products. To be successful you need a fantastic product that meets a high unmet need ie unique and be prepared to spend time and £'s marketing it , doubtful if this could be done 1 day a week...
