Engine Bay Blower voltage cycling between 14V and 10V - voltage regulator issue ?

Hi. Quite a debate going on here ! I disconnected the fan. Engine running the engine battery was stable at 14.1V. Agree it must be something relative to wiring for the fan or perhaps some errant controlller. I cannot see at all how the fan is connected to power without stripping out all the...

Engine Bay Blower voltage cycling between 14V and 10V - voltage regulator issue ?

Ok. Measurements taken. Engine battery at rest 13.3V. Service batteries at rest 13.3V. Engine started. Service batteries at constant 14.1V. Engine battery cycling between 14.1V and 13.8V in the same cadence that the fan is cycling louder and quieter. I did not feel confident to measure...

Engine Bay Blower voltage cycling between 14V and 10V - voltage regulator issue ?

Thank you for guidance. I will now do voltage measurements at the both engine + service batteries while engine is running. Not too sure about the safety of measuring voltage across alternator while engine is running as sounds dangerous ?

Engine Bay Blower voltage cycling between 14V and 10V - voltage regulator issue ?

Hi, appreciate any guidance given. 2017 Bavaria 34. In line blower from engine bay is vented via hose to cockpit near helm. I noticed that the noise from the vent goes up and down, corresponding to the fan speeding up and slowing down- which is noticeable. I changed the fan - same issue. I...
