Must say, CIF along with those plastic pan scrubbers has always worked for us. Bit messy but effective.

Managed to find a local engineering shop. 2 proper traditional semi-retired engineers who machined the old one and refitted a lining. . my only concern is that I will not know how well it is working until we launch in about 6 weeks time. Fingers crossed. Thanks to you all for your help. Dee
