I'm with you Ari except for the M&S food. Didn't think prices charged at the hog roast and guinness bar were too excessive but my mate did moan at the prices for a prawn sandwich upstairs at the champagne bar. I wisely stayed downstairs.
I think I must have gone to a different boatshow.
Went on the first Saturday and went on all the floating Fairlines. I did ask the guy at the entrance to their barrier if we could have a look and was waved through. We did queue for 5 minutes to get on the 78 but jumped on and off all the...
Just subscribed. 6 month DD. All boxes unticked which was a pleasant surprise. Last time I did this IPC had automatically ticked all the "Send me Junk" boxes so may be they are learning.
Wow, just been charged €93 for a lift onto trailer and hot pressure wash for a 24 footer. That included power washing where the trailer pads go before dropping and a good hour of power washing once on the trailer. South coast sounds mad money.

No requirements for bits of paper but a detailed resume of sailing experience was required and then they gave me a BB385...
Yup, that about sums it up.

It was about 5 years ago.
Sunsails website states (or did at the time) what you need to charter and is clear that experience will count. I tried various other west coast charterers but all were more expensive than Sunsail and when they were told it was an all male crew from Ireland on Paddies...
No they didn't. When I wanted to go there with a few mates a few years ago, Sunsail were the only company to accept experience in leiu of paper quals. May be it's changed now.
