Hi, GP14 is the safest bet , however if you wanted something a bit more exciting I have an old kestrel no trolleys but good sails and new spinaker kept on the beach for the last few years £250 very sailable
Many thanks for the responses the softwear I have is great the main problem I have is with daylight viewing on both my laptop and pda I was hoping a chart plotter would improve on this . any suggestions
As you turn the set on you have a choice to program which stations you receive and which alerts you receive the instructions can be obtained off the navtex site
This would explain my confusion all maptech are offering me then is alternative software for my pc , Transfering the charts to an alternative memory form should not prove a problem as I use SD Memory cards for my XDA , But I still need to find a compatible plotter which can read this data
