I was thinking that. What is the weight of the boat? I would have thought the trailer should be braked as well? Or is it? I can't see any cables.
Certainly it needs more hull support than just those 2 rollers.
The problem with parachutes is that they're not guaranteed to go out until they land in the sea (or inland on someones house / cat / car head). Especially old ones which are not guaranteed to take off properly at all.

Correct, I don't .I'm basing it on my experience of the Itchen and Hamble where our old boat used to wander all over the place at displacement speeds. It was a light bowrider though. Our last boat was much better but still not as stable as a properly designed displacement or semi displacement...

I don't think MDL have much say in the buildings and restaurants in Ocean Village. Blame Southampton Council for that. MDL have owned the marina there for years and it has always been a haven for the larger yachts and mobos. Locals who don't want to be near the night life tend to reside at...

Off topic but was that the Kitty? I hope you were not the skipper the night we did a corporate trip to Cowes fireworks and spent the evening on a slope firmly aground on the Bramble Bank!
They are free, try several and decide which you think is best. Report back your findings on here so that people can tell you you've chosen the wrong one ;);)
MarineTraffic is my choice for what it's worth.
