Just had an insurance survey completed - the surveyor has criticised my gas installation and recommended that the gas bottle (which currently sits on the shelf in the cockpit locker) be stored in an enclosed box with a vent to the outside. I've seen that Calor make something that looks ideal...

Looking for a TV aerial to be used for occasional use with a laptop and WinTV card when moored up. Don't want anything permanent, just something that can be placed on the coachroof/pontoon. Grateful for any suggestions/recomendations.

During the summer, shore power disconnected, batteries isolated, everything off. In winter shore power connected, batteries isolated, charger off, dehumidifier running permanently, greenhouse heater tubes on thermostatic switch.

I made exactly the same mistake - bought the shiny 32amp Marinco inlet connector for a great price on Ebay - then had a heart attack at the price of the plug. I searched far and wide and there appears to be no cheap solution so bought the Marinco plug for 80 quid - and the waterproof rubber...
