I've worked in the marine industry for pretty much my whole life and am totally addicted to all things afloat.
In my spare time - not that we get much of it in this industry, I like to build and tweak high performance powerboats - often found out in the Solent on a calm evening complete with orange crash helmet and racing lifejacket!
My own boat is a 22ft tunnel hull catamaran with a Mercury 300XS outboard - launched this summer and still tweaking the setup but should eventually be good for 80-90mph.
