Fowey Regatta is on August 16th to 23rd, good excuse to sample the local bars I think and apparently they ship a giant pasty across the river from Polruan... although this could be something seen only after sampling the local bars to excess... <hr width=100% size=1>

Having had the mis-fortune this morning to purchase an item of electrical equipment from a Cowes-based shop-trader, I was wondering if anybody had an opinion on the less than satisfactory customer service skills displayed by some staff in the town. Might I suggest a poll to find the rudest shop...

had a go on a JS9000. I read lots of reports about this rather spanking looking boat around the beginning of the year, and seen nothing since. I haven't seen any on the water anywhere, just wondered if anybody has seen/ heard or had a play on one. Cheers <hr width=100% size=1>

is a quality find, probably need a car though. It's on the back road from Cowes to Shalfleet. Very friendly staff and top food, does kids as well. Furthermore, you don't get charged Cowes prices! Cheers <hr width=100% size=1>
