Generally it's all a pain in the rear:rolleyes: 13kg propane, 15kg butane and Patio13kg cylinders are all the same, just an new valve and a spray depending on stock levels and the season. 3.9's and 4.5s are the same, 6kg and 7kg as well. 19kg and 18kg (they have to change the internals over...
We had some 4.5's delivered last week. None since and the driver was as surprised as I was that they were on his truck. 7kgs are also now hard to get hold of, I suspect they may have been sprayed red and are now impersonating 6kg propane cylinders to meet the campervan demand.
We've just had our first delivery of 4.5kg cylinders in months, despite the rep telling me on Friday they weren't supplying them until the Autumn. The driver was surprised as I was that they were out for delivery. They were repainted 3.9kg bottles with new valves, so there is hope yet!
Having spoken to a Calor rep earlier today, there is unlikely to be any increase in supply of 4.5kg cylinders before the autumn. They have also been hit by their staff being 'pinged' and have had to deploy remaining drivers strategically around the country. Deliveries are at present delayed by...
Try Felixstowe Ferry Boatyard. Pretty certain there are some deep water moorings available. There is outdoor dinghy storage available or you can make use of the foot ferry. Would probably need an outboard as the tidal flow at times is Humberesque. Felixstowe train station is 10 mins in a taxi...
Just sailed out and back in over the Bar today. 3.4m depth at the Bar HW-90mins, so similar to the last couple of years. The channel between the Knolls and the beach does feel narrower adjacent to the Fort; where there is also a shallower section protruding out from the beach.
I have a...
I know that Garmin have removed support for the old version of the App, perhaps that has something to do with it. Think it's now Boating HD with a slightly different logo. Just updated my charts on the phone and all went well.
Clocked it last night as trying to install navionics on a new phone. Bit of a pain, as it won't allow me to download charts. At least I'm not at sea and actually need them.
Came out over the bar today.
Anytime after mid flood tide and you'll have plenty of water. Min depth today was 4m at 1200.
The red is the start of the bar so you can head directly for that, no need to head to the SWM. From the red straight to the green watching out the tide doesn't push you off...
Try Rafter 120 | Palm Equipment
