Hi, am just snooping around and came across a possible alternative to the VP green coolant,
Products - Solve-M Solventis Marine Coolants
Claims to be to exact OEM spec etc.... claims to be compatible for top up as well as complete change.
Anyone heard of, looked into, or used this yet ??
I do use snow foams on our cars but not on the boat, personally, and each to their own but I would have reservations about the suitability of all the harsher chems in a vehicle snow foam being allowed straight into the water...
We have a Totalcool 55, got to say it is INCREDIBLE ! huge capacity, takes large bottles standing up , has a smaller comp, , 1 comp can act as a freezer, 12/24/240V, we get on board , turn it on and it's down at 5deg within 15mins. The comp doesn't run full time, only when it's needed, so...
I thnk you're in the right area. Pearl 60, D12 800's, WOT on a clean bottom she'll top out at 33knts and burning about 180 lph per engine, can't remember the exact cruising number so will try and find photos of helm with the burn rate showing......

From my understanding you can't actually pre-book. It's always 1st come- 1st served. But they are always nothng but helpful and will def accomodate you as best as possible when you arrrive. It's our fav place to visit, love it.
If you don't get any joy , or don't fancy, Torquay, but do want to be in Torbay, we've been at Brixham for 3 years now so can pm with everything about there if required.
Not "Torquay" specific but we love being in Torbay , after 6 years in Lymington. Nothing wrong with LYH, we loved it there...
